Zanusi, Jakob auch Jacopo Zanussi


Zanusi, Jakob (also Jacopo Zanussi), d. around 1755, painter at the court, came from the Trentino or South Tyrol, worked mainly in Tyrol, Salzburg and Upper Austria.


Works: Altarpieces in the churches of Schwaz, Rattenberg, St. Johann i. Ti. (all in Tyrol), Grödig, Hundsdorf b. Bruck a. d. Großglocknerstraße, Prielau, Radstadt, St. Margarethen im Lungau, Straßwalchen, St. Martin bei Lofer, Gnigl, Großgmain, Werfen, Mattsee, Salzburg (Kajetanerkirche, Chapel of St. Gabriel at St. Sebastian's cemetery), St. Margarethen im Lungau, Wagrain (all in Salzburg), Mondsee, St. Wolfgang, Aufhausen (all in Upper Austria), Gmünd (Carinthia).
