Weys, RudolfWeys, Rudolf, b. Graz (Styria), Sept. 30, 1898, d. Vienna, Feb. 27, 1978, journalist, writer, revue artiste, studied law, started out as a theatre critic. Together with F. W. Stein founded a revue theatre called "Literatur am Naschmarkt"; wrote the satirical sketches performed at the "Wiener Werkel"; wrote cabaret texts and sketches, comedies, libretti, radio plays and books. Works: Literatur - am Naschmarkt, 1947; Cabaret und Kabarett in Wien, 1970.
