Weißenkirchner Weißkircher, Wolf der Jüngere


Weißenkirchner (Weißkircher), Wolf the Younger, b. 1639, d. 1703, sculptor; brother of Hans Adam Weißenkirchner. Lived and worked in Salzburg and was the assistant of J. B. Fischer von Erlach. His works include altarpieces in Holzhausen, Maria Plain, Untereching, Obereching and St. Margarethen, and the atlantes on the west portal of the Hofmarstall (stables) in Salzburg.
