Waldbrunn, ErnstWaldbrunn, Ernst, b. Český Krumlov, Czech Republic (then Krumau), Aug. 14, 1907, d. Vienna, Dec. 22, 1977, actor and revue artiste; husband of E. Ott. 1938 in Moravska Ostrava (then Mährisch-Ostrau) met K. Farkas, who introduced him to the Viennese satirical revue Simpl after World War II. Through his double acts with Farkas he became a favourite with Viennese audiences, also acted in character roles and as a comedian (characteristic stutter), mainly at the Theater in der Josefstadt and in films. Works: Das hat kein Goethe g´schrieben, 1957; Die Flucht, 1965 (theatre play, with L. Winiewicz); Aber, aber, Herr Professor, 1969 (with H. Wiener).
