Wagendristel, AlexanderWagendristel, Alexander, b. Vienna, March 23, 1965, composer. Student of E. Urbanner at the Vienna Musikhochschule (now University of Music and Performing Arts) 1980-1990. His compositions are characterised by a very distinct rhythm and influenced by dadaism as well as by I. Stravinsky and O. Messiaen; his tonality is characterised by the use of a wide spectrum ranging from the simple diatonic to clusters and noise.
