Wach, Rudolf "Rudi"Wach, Rudolf ("Rudi"), b. Hall in Tirol, Nov. 22, 1934, sculptor. Studied from 1955 at the Accademia di Brera in Milan. His art was considerably influenced by his close friendship with M. Negri and F. Wotruba and his acquaintance with A. Giacometti. His œvre centres on such subjects as mothers, persons at prayer or performing sacrifical rites, sphinxes, animal figures and Christian symbols. Works: Innsbruck: Große Sphinx, 1981; Innbrücken-Kreuz, 1985; Adler-Flugschatten-Brunnen, 1993; Weiße Kapelle (University Hospital), 1994. - Vienna: Lauf der Geschöpfe, underground station Museumsquartier, 2001.
