Vizekanzler
Vice-Chancellor, deputy of the Federal Chancellor who assumes the latter´s responsibilities whenever he is unable to perform his duties. If both the Federal Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor are unable to perform their duties, the Federal President nominates a member of the Federal Government to represent them. If the country is governed by a coalition government, the post of Vice-Chancellor is habitually filled by a member of the junior coalition partner. The Vice-Chancellor is usually also head of a ministry.
