Ungar, LeopoldUngar, Leopold, b. Wiener Neustadt (Lower Austria), Aug. 8, 1912, d. Vienna, April 30, 1992, priest. Doctor of law, entered the seminary in Vienna. In 1938 emigrated to France because of his Jewish descent. Ordination in 1939; 1947 returned to Austria, in 1950 director of Caritas in Vienna, 1964 to 1991 president of the Austrian Caritas charitable organisation. Literature: F. R.
