Ullrich, Luise verehelichte Castell-Rüdenhausen


Ullrich, Luise (married name: Castell-Rüdenhausen), b. Vienna, Oct. 31, 1911, d. Munich (Germany), Jan. 21, 1985, (film-)actress, writer. At the age of 15 at the Vienna Volkstheater, then at the Raimundtheater, later on German stages, mainly in Berlin and Munich. From 1932 film career, leading roles in more than 40 films. 1941 best actress award at the Biennale in Venice. After World War II worked in theatre, film and television productions (e.g. in R. W. Fassbinder's TV series "Acht Stunden sind kein Tag").
