Tyrolia Verlagsanstalt GmbHTyrolia Verlagsanstalt GmbH, founded by a Catholic publishing house in Brixen (Preßverein Brixen) in 1888, from 1907 also established in Innsbruck; when the publishing house was divided in 1919 it was re-named Vogelweider-Verlag in South Tirol; after 1936 called Athesia. Tyrolia Verlagsanstalt GmbH established itself as one of the most important Christian publishing houses in the German speaking area. Publishes books on a wide range of topics such as social problems, education, meditation, children´s and young people´s literature and also publishes art books, technical books and large illustrated books; however, the publication of scientific and theological literature still plays a major role.
