Turnauer, HerbertTurnauer, Herbert, b. Prague (Czech Republic), July 29, 1907, d. Vienna, Jan. 8, 2000, industrialist. Managed a small paint factory in Prague in the 1930s, after 1945 started a new life in Austria. Founded the largest paint factory in Austria (Stollack), which he sold in 1969. In 1949 he founded Isovolta KG (Isovolta, Österreichische Isolierstoffwerke AG, in 1962 he acquired a majority interest in the Teich AG, in 1969 founded the Constantia Industrieholding AG with further investments such as the Constantia Privatbank AG (Constantia-Iso Holding AG) in 1986. 1994/95 founded two trusts in Liechtenstein as majority owners of the holding company.
