Treml, Johann FriedrichTreml, Johann Friedrich, b. Vienna, Jan. 8, 1816, d. Vienna, June 13, 1852, genre and water-colour painter. Son of the theatre painter Friedrich Dremml (Tremml), student at the Vienna Academy, sponsored by P. Fendi, strongly influenced in motifs and technique by C. Schindler. From 1848/49 worked almost exclusively for the Vienna Court, loved painting scenes from the lives of soldiers, farmers and craftsmen.
