Trebitsch, Arthur auch: R. Stibert


Trebitsch, Arthur (also R. Stibert), b. Vienna, April 17, 1880, d. Eggendorf near Graz (Styria), Sept. 26, 1927, poet, narrative writer, dramatist, essayist. Brother of Siegfried Trebitsch. Writer of abstruse texts of anti-Semitic propaganda ("Geist und Judentum", 1919; "Deutscher Geist oder Judentum", 1921), influenced German Nationalist circles. Friends included M. Jelusich and A. Wildgans.
