Toman, WalterToman, Walter, b. Vienna, March 15, 1920, psychologist and writer, husband of Lore Toman. From 1951 to 1962 university lecturer, then university professor of Psychology in Boston (USA), from 1962 university professor in Erlangen (Germany). First poetry published in 1946. In poetry and short stories combines reality with fantasy and explores questions of human nature.
