Teufenbach, SteiermarkTeufenbach, Styria, municipality in the district of Murau, alt. 760 m, pop. 582, area 3.43 km2, situated on the southern bank of the River Mur/Mura north of the Neumarkter Sattel pass. - Industrial and trade centre. - Parish church (first mentioned in 1232) with Romanesque, Gothic (choir consecrated in 1437) and 18th century elements (side chapels, spire), Gothic fresco (15th century), Renaissance gravestones; Alt-Teufenbach Castle (12th century), Neu-Teufenbach Palace (around 1560).
