Teschler, NiklasTeschler, Niklas, b. Bad Waldsee near Ravensburg (Germany), around 1410, d. Vienna, between July 29 and Nov. 23, 1485, cloth merchant and banker. From 1433 lived in Vienna; high offices in the city council (mayor 1453 and 1456/57); 1485 town prosecutor; 1483 initiated the construction of the "Heilthumsstuhl" repository of relics at St. Stephen´s.
