StudienhofkommissionStudienhofkommission, introduced in 1760 by Maria Theresia as a central institution for the planning, control and administration of universities and secondary schools (from 1781 also responsible for all other sections of schooling); suspended between 1791 and 1808 and replaced by the "Ministerium des öffentlichen Unterrichtes" in 1848.
