Maurepas (France), May 12, 1957, film actor and director. 1909 emigrated to the USA, at first journalist, from 1914 supernumerary in Hollywood, later assistant director. From 1915 actor, from 1918 director and scriptwriter; from 1946 in France. Works: assistant director: The Birth of a Nation, 1915 (with D. W.
