Stillfried, NiederösterreichStillfried, Lower Austria, part of the municipality of Angern an der March in the district of Gänserndorf, one of the most important protected monument areas in Austria: area: 23 hectares, fortified with 1.7 m high walls on a plateau on the Amber Route. Finds from the Old Stone Age at the place of work of a stone cutter, fortified central settlement and burial sites from the late Bronze Age Urnfield Culture with grave furnishings (including a cup and headgear made of bronze).
