Pannonhalma (Hungary), Aug. 23, 1945, daughter of King Leopold II of Belgium. 1881 married Crown Prince Rudolf; after his death went on many journeys, on which she often adopted various pseudonyms (e.g. Gräfin Lacroma, Eppan, Gondrecourt, Lady Bonchurch), 1900 married the Hungarian Count (1917 Prince) Elemér Lónyay of Nagylónya (1863-1946). 1945 had to leave Oroszvár Palace after the invasion of the Soviet troops; took refuge in the Benedictine abbey of Pannonhalma.
