Sowinetz, KurtSowinetz, Kurt, b. Vienna, Feb. 26, 1928, d. Vienna, Jan. 28, 1991, actor, Kammerschauspieler. After engagements at smaller stages joined the Vienna Volkstheater 1955, then the Theater in der Josefstadt, ensemble member of the Burgtheater from 1976; broad repertoire ranging from dialect folk plays to classic and modern plays; along with performances on stage and as a clown, revue artist and singer of street ballads ("Alle Menschen san ma z´wider"), also an enthusiastic painter. 1982 awarded the Nestroy ring.
