Perchtoldsdorf (Lower Austria), June 2, 1939, narrative writer and author of children's books, teacher. Wrote the classic for younger readers "Die Höhlenkinder" (3 vols., 1918-1920), in which he presents the development of the human race to an advanced civilization in the form of a Robinson-Crusoe style novel.
