Wroclaw, Poland (then Breslau), Jan. 21, 1891; went missing in Poland in 1945. Painter. Lived in Vienna from 1910, where he studied architecture and chemistry, one of the founders of the Linz artists' association MAERZ in 1913; military service during World War I, 1921 graduation and scientific collaborator at the Vienna Technical Museum. From 1921 regular contributions to exhibitions in the Vienna Secession (member in 1927).
