SchwejkSchwejk, main character of the satirical Czech novel "The Good Soldier Svejk" by J. Hašek (1920-1923, German edition in 1926, dramatised in 1928, opera by J. Kurka 1960, several films). The hero reflects on the condition of the Austro-Hungarian army during World War I and makes fun of the pillars of the regime.
