Sankt Veit an der GölsenSankt Veit an der Gölsen, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Lilienfeld, alt. 369 m, pop. 3,696, area 78.14 km2, situated on the north bank of the River Gölsen. - Small and medium-sized enterprises, quarries, some tourism. - Late Gothic parish church (1473) with richly profiled main entrance, high Gothic choir (around 1400), stained glass panel (1554), figures of the apostles (1460-1470), Gothic crucifix (1520) on a Baroque lay altar.
