Sankt Marein im MürztalSankt Marein im Mürztal, Styria, market town in the district of Bruck an der Mur, alt. 537 m, pop. 2,252, area 8.88 km2, northeast of Kapfenberg. - Hall for cultural and sports events, wood-chip burning district heating plant; wood industry (railway sleepers, sawing mill, etc.) predominant, building and construction trade. - Gothic parish church (choir 14th century, nave around 1400), St. Sebastian chapel (around 1490), remodelled and decorated in Baroque style; Graschnitz Palace (16th -17th centuries).
