Sankt Marein bei KnittelfeldSankt Marein bei Knittelfeld, Styria, municipality in the district of Knittelfeld, alt. 698 m, pop. 1,157, area 60.63 km2, situated near the entry of the Leissingbach stream into the River Mur. - Festival hall; wood processing, building and construction industry. - Gothic parish church (1440-1447) with vault paintings (2nd half of the 15th century) and late Gothic winged altar (1524), high altar (1703); Abbey of the Augustinian Canons Regular (1140-1142), later moved to Seckau.
