Rollett, EdwinRollett, Edwin, b. Graz (Styria), Jan. 24, 1889, d. Vienna, Dec. 7, 1964, narrative writer and journalist. Son of Alexander Rollett. 1921-1937 editor of the "Wiener Zeitung", 1938 editor-in-chief of the "Volkszeitung"; 1938-1940 Flossenbürg concentration camp; 1946-1948 director of the Vienna publishers Ullstein-Verlag; 1957 awarded the Journalism Prize of the town of Vienna. Editor of "Neue Ö. Biographie" (from 1935) and the series "Ewiges Wort" (from 1946). Works: literary studies: K. Kraus, 1934; Ö.
