Rohrmoser, AloisRohrmoser, Alois, b. Wagrain (province of Salzburg), July 11, 1932, ski manufacturer. Founded the company Atomic-Ski (Atomic Austria GmbH) in 1955 and succeeded in making Atomic into one of the leading ski brands worldwide. Acquired the French ski manufacturing company Dynamic in 1977, the ski poles manufacturer Komperdell in 1983, and the ski bindings manufacturer Ess as well as the ski boots factory Koflach in 1989. Due to declining sales he sold the Atomic group to the Finnish Amer group in 1994.
