Rheinhardt, Emil AlphonsReinhardt, Emil Alphons, b. Vienna, April 4, 1889, d. concentration camp Dachau, Feb. 25, 1945, poet, narrative writer, translator. Vienna expressionist, member of the "Akademie Verband für Literatur und Musik", 1918 editor of the periodical "Daimon", 1920-1924 reader for "3-Masken" publishers in Munich; then lived in Italy and France. After the Anschluß founded together with F. Werfel, R. Musil and B. Walter the "Liga für das geistige Österrerich" in Paris; arrested by the Gestapo in April 1943.
