Reinthaller, AntonReinthaller, Anton, b. Mettmach (Upper Austria), April 14, 1895, d. Mettmach (Upper Austria), March 6, 1958, land owner and politician (NSDAP; Austrian Freedom Party, FPÖ). Was a moderate national-socialist during the corporative state; on March 11, 1938 became Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, then subordinate Staatssekretär in Berlin and 1940 leader of the farmers in Niederdonau (Lower Austria). 1950 sentenced to 3 years' imprisonment, 1956-1958 party chairman of the Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ).
