Raymond, Fred (pseudonym of Raimund Friedrich Vesely), b. Vienna, April 20, 1900, d. Überlingen (Germany), Jan. 10, 1954, composer of operettas and popular songs (self-taught), bank clerk. From 1924 revue artist, lived in Berlin.


Works: operettas: Maske in Blau, 1937; Saison in Salzburg, 1938; Geliebte Manuela, 1951. -Popular songs: Ich hab mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren; Ich hab´ das Fräul´n Helen baden seh´n; Die Juliska, die Juliska aus Buda-Budapest; Salzburger Nockerln; In einer kleinen Konditorei. - Revues, musical plays, film music.
