Studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. 1980-1984 employed by the newspaper "Kronen Zeitung"; 1984-1987 manager of the weekly tabloid "Die ganze Woche"; 1987 established the financial newspaper "Option"; 1989 co-founded the newspaper television supplement "tele". 1988-1998 managing director of the "tele" magazine publishing company; 1998-2001 managing director of max.mobil Telekommunikation; since 2001 managing director of the German company T-Online International.
