Portisch, EmilPortisch, Emil junior, b. Bratislava (Slovakia), Oct. 22, 1921, journalist; brother of Hugo Portisch. 1945-1947 editor of the paper "Kleines Volksblatt", then of the "Steirerblatt", 1959-1985 head of foreign affairs department on the newspaper "Süd-Ost-Tagespost" in Graz. His father (1887-1985), of the same name, was also an important journalist (editor-in-chief of the paper "Niederösterreichische Nachrichten").
