Studied at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and Vienna, 1970 debut in Basle, then director in Switzerland, Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna. 1988-1992 director at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, since 1992 manager of the Stadttheater Klagenfurt.
