Mödling (Lower Austria), April 16, 1923, architect, graphic artist and craftsman. Studied architecture at the University of Technology in Vienna under Max von Ferstel and K. König and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under F. Ohmann. Founding member of the Österreichischer Werkbund, from 1915 member of the Wiener Werkstätte, 1917 director of the Zurich branch of the Wiener Werkstätte, 1919 return to Vienna; participation in numerous exhibitions.
