Paschke, FritzPaschke, Fritz, b. Gösting near Graz, Styria, March 2, 1929, electrical engineer. Studied electrical engineering at the Universities of Technology of Graz and Vienna; 1956-61 in the USA, 1961-66 employed by Siemens AG in Munich, Germany, 1965-97 Professor of General Eelectrical Engineering at Vienna University of Technology, 1972-75 rector of that institution. Awarded the Erwin Schrödinger Prize of the Austrian Academy of Science in 1988.
