Paltauf, RichardPaltauf, Richard, b. Judenburg (Styria), Feb. 9, 1858, d. Vienna, April 21, 1924, pathologist and anatomist. 1892 professor in Graz, 1893 prosector and 1898 university professor in Vienna. Founded the serotherapeutic institute in Vienna and founded a rabies vaccination centre. Established bacteriology and serology as disciplines in Vienna.
