Österreichisch-deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft Österreichische Autobahnen- und Schnellstraßen-Aktiengesellschaft

Österreichisch-deutscher Volksbund

Österreichisch-deutscher Volksbund, mass organisation founded in 1925 and led by H. Neubacher, promoting the Anschluss of Austria to Germany. Among its members were numerous politicians of all parties and 320 corporate bodies from all professions and political sections, among them the Niederösterreichsicher Bauernbund (Christian-Socialist) and most of the (Social-Democratic) Independent Trade Unions. Corresponds to the earlier Deutsch-österreichischer Volksbund in Germany, which was headed by the Social-Democratic president of the Imperial Diet, P. Löbe.

Literature: W. Rosar, Deutsche Gemeinschaft. Seyss-Inquart und der Anschluß, 1971.
