Osim, IvicaOsim, Ivica, b. Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina, then Yugoslavia), May 6, 1941, soccer player and trainer. Played for Zeljenicar Sarajevo, then played 8 years in France for Racing Strasbourg, Sédan and Valenciennes; played on the Yugoslavian national team 20 times. Later trainer in Belgrad and Athens. Since 1994 successful trainer of SK Sturm Graz, which won the Austrian Cup Finals in 1996, 1997 and 1999 and the Austrian championship in 1998 and 1999; in 2000/2001 Sturm Graz, with O. as trainer, became the first Austrian team to reach the intermediate round of the UEFA Champions League.
