Orth, Elisabeth, b. Vienna, Feb. 8, 1936, actress, Kammerschauspielerin, daughter of A. Hörbiger and P. Wessely. Started as film editor and assistant director, after graduating from the Reinhardt-Seminar school of drama first engagements at the Volkstheater and at the Theater der Courage in Vienna, afterwards on German stages (Ulm, Munich). In 1965 debut, since 1968 member of the Burgtheater company; film and TV appearances ("Schatzhaus Österreich"), recitation and writing. 1981 Kainz medal.
