Nowak, HeinrichNowak, Heinrich, b. Vienna, Jan. 26, 1890, d. Zurich (Switzerland), Aug. 12, 1955, poet, prose author and journalist. With R. Müller one of the most important authors of early Viennese expressionism, acquainted with O. Kokoschka and H. Flesch-Brunningen and others, member of the artists´ association "Die Katakombe". Published in numerous expressionist magazines; after 1918 journalist and reporter, 1939 emigrated to Switzerland.
