Standards Institute, Austrian (German: Österreichisches Normungsinstitut, ON), formerly "Österreichischer Normenausschuß für Industrie und Gewerbe (ÖNIG)" (Austrian Standards Committee for Industry and Trade) and "Österreichischer Normenausschuß (ÖNA)" (Austrian Standards Committee). Association supervised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, which compiles and publishes Standards, Austrian. Every field has its special committee; Austrian standards that are newly created, altered or withdrawn must be published in the official periodical "Wiener Zeitung". The Austrian Standards Institute has a register of national and international standards and publishes the monthly CONNEX and an annual report.
