NiederleisNiederleis, Lower Austria, municipality in the district of Mistelbach, alt. 253 m, pop. 722, 19.54 km2, at the southern foot of the Leiser Berge mountains in the Waldviertel area. - Parish church (1814), high altar from the 18th century; castle with park originally from the 16th century, alterations in the 17th century, banqueting hall and interior design 19th century, stone bridge with balustrade and sandstone statues (made by G. Giuliani in 1735), abundant collection of sculptures and arts and crafts (mainly Italian).
