Neues Wiener TagblattNeues Wiener Tagblatt, daily newspaper founded on March 3, 1867, taken over by M. Szeps on July 13, 1867. It very soon became Vienna´s highest-circulation quality paper and a successful advertising vehicle. Occasionally also midday and evening editions. The National Socialist press authorities did not suppress the paper in 1938 but made it their central press organ (including "Neue Freie Presse" and the "Neues Wiener Journal"). Last issue on April 7, 1945.
