Neues VolksblattNeues Volksblatt, set up by the Catholic Press Association on January 2, 1869 as "Linzer Volksblatt". The National Socialists took over the paper on March 13, 1938 and published it under the title "Volksstimme". On October 8, 1945 it was re-established by and for the Austrian People´s Party (ÖVP) (Österreichische Volkspartei). Since 1971 it has been published under the title "Neues Volksblatt" in cooperation with the "Salzburger Volkszeitung". Circulation in 1993: 30,000.
