Nejgreschl, Mendl eigentlich Max NeugröschlNejgreschl, Mendl (real name: Max Neugröschl), b. Novy Sancz (Poland), Feb. 9, 1903, d. New York (USA), Feb. 8, 1965, lawyer, most prominent author of expressionist-Yiddish literature in Vienna, editor of the journal "Jiddisch". Arrested in 1938 and deported to Buchenwald concentration camp, from where he later managed to escape to the USA.
