MuntanitzMuntanitz Peak, East Tirol, 3,232 m, highest peak of the Granatspitz Mountains in the Hohe Tauern massif, glaciated. Northeast face ("Loameswand") reputed to be particularly difficult to climb, first ascent in 1871. Mountain refuge: Sudetendeutsche Hütte (2,666 m).
