MostviertelMostviertel Region, old name for the region around the Ennswald forest, the western part of Lower Austria around Amstetten and Seitenstetten. Today general name used also for areas of the Innviertel, Hausruckviertel and Traunviertel regions where must (German: Most) is produced in large quantities.
