Morini, EricaMorini, Erica, b. Vienna, Jan. 5, 1905, d. New York (USA), Nov. 1, 1995, violinist. Took lessons from her father and was one of the first women at the Vienna conservatory; from 1916 gave concerts as a soloist with many orchestras including the Leipzig Gewandhaus orchestra under A. Nikitsch, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and in Carnegie Hall in New York. Emigrated 1938 to the USA, where she gave concerts and taught until 1976.
